Fonts-

Here are a selection of fonts that i am thinking of using for my mast head, I wanted a bold font that will stand out more than anything else on my magazine, this is because my audience need to recognise the title making them more lkely to buy it if they have read it before. I think i am going to choose Adobe Caslon pro bold as it isn't too bold like the first font but simpler and bolder than the bottom font.

Masthead-

i then went onto photoshop and made it look more like a masthead by adding a background and a border, i think it will make the magazine look more proffesional and give it more of a house style.

Cost and how often published-
i decided that my magazine should be published every 4 weeks (one a month) and at the price of £2.50 as my target audience will mostly be at college/univeristy which means they won't have much money, therefore it is a reasonably cheap price and not very frequently published.

i chose to include these in my magazine as they fit in with my genre and targert audence. they all produce indie rock music and the audience would want to read about them. you can tell by their clothing and poses that they are all from the same genre of music as they are all casually dressed and don't look to bothered about having their photo taken.
