final front cover

i added a sell line to make to magazine look more conventional, i also changed the fonts of the cover lines and fonts at the bottom to give more variety, made 'exclusive' stand out more by making it bigger and adding a background and added a price near the bar code so people knew how much the magazine is.

draft 2 and 3

draft 2
i edited my main image using Photoshop to make her skin look softer and remove her blemishes, this made the front cover look more professional. For the image i also cropped it so that their was less white space and more of the model. I also changed the font type of the coverlines so that the names of the artists stood out more.

draft 3
to improve i added a thumbnail image to make to front cover look more proffesional. i then did a survey around the class to see which looked better, the majority liked it better without the image therefore in my next draft i am going to remove it and also change my fonts and add a sell line.

front cover first draft

when looking at this first draft their are several things i would change, first of all their is the fact that the masthead is cutting off the top of the models head, therefore i could improve by placing the masthead behind her head. i also don't like how the colour of the main feature clashes with her clothing, so i could try and use a different image to resolve this problem.
I could also make the image look more professional by editing it on photoshop.

images for front cover

I like the clothing choice of this image as she looks individual from what people usually wear which is the whole idea of being an indie and listen to indie rock music as it is alternate to mainstream. I also like the background as it is plain and simple, looks professional and doesn't distract from the model. the only thing i dislike about this image is the expression on her face, i think she needs to look more rebellious rather than happy.

i like the view point of this image, by taking the picture from a low angle to model looks dominant and in power. again, like the previous image her clothing looks individual and the background is plain therefore doesn't distract from the the model. The only thing i dislike about this image is i think it is too close up and there wouldn't be enough room to have a mast head, cover lines, main feature and a flash.

i liked how centred this image was and how lack of emotion but again thought she could look more rebellious and that the view point would be more effective from below.

This image would look good on an indie rock magazine cover as her clothing suggests her individuality and how unique her style is. i would also say that the composition and framing of the image is good as it leaves space for a mast head and other conventions such as cover lines. the only problem with this image as her facial expression.
this image, like the previous, would look good in an indie rock magazine for the same reasons.
but models expresson for this image also suits my chosen genre therefore this is the image i am going to use.

hand drawn drafts for front page

i think that this draft shows the basic layout of my magazine front cover. I have placed things in all the conventional places and think everything fits into place well on the page.

i then did another draft again showing the layout but this time with a different image, i like this better as you can see the persons clothes therefore finding more out about them which is good for the mise-en-scene when thinking about the genre of my magazine

target audience

Like NME's target audience mine is going to be teens to late 20's and mostly males, this is because it is known that indie rock music has is mostly a male dominated genre and this age group are still going to festivals and gigs and are passionate about music and are often buying/downloading albums. They're young socialites and first time earners, There life style would be rebellious and because they don't have very important job's and mostly will be at university they are therefore still wanting to go out and enjoy their lives, But also enjoy watching movies at the cinema and programs on the television. They also like to be in style think of music as being an important part of their lives.
stats would be: 67% male and 33% female
I am going to attract my target audience by giving them information on the music they love, the artists featured will be ones that they want to know about and therefore will buy the magazine. I will also give reviews for the artists albums and the latest films as they often go to the cinema atleast once a month and still buy cd's.

ideas

http://prezi.com/kuarqtnr2qsm/ideas/

Fonts-
Here are a selection of fonts that i am thinking of using for my mast head, I wanted a bold font that will stand out more than anything else on my magazine, this is because my audience need to recognise the title making them more lkely to buy it if they have read it before. I think i am going to choose Adobe Caslon pro bold as it isn't too bold like the first font but simpler and bolder than the bottom font.

Masthead-

i then went onto photoshop and made it look more like a masthead by adding a background and a border, i think it will make the magazine look more proffesional and give it more of a house style.

Cost and how often published-
i decided that my magazine should be published every 4 weeks (one a month) and at the price of £2.50 as my target audience will mostly be at college/univeristy which means they won't have much money, therefore it is a reasonably cheap price and not very frequently published.

featured artists/bands-

arctic monkeys
 two door cinema club
 foals
 muse
 pete doherty

i chose to include these in my magazine as they fit in with my genre and targert audence. they all produce indie rock music and the audience would want to read about them. you can tell by their clothing and poses that they are all from the same genre of music as they are all casually dressed and don't look to bothered about having their photo taken.

LIIAR analysis of 3 magazine double page spreads

Language- The band name is at the top of the page in bold black writing with a vibrant blue around it. This is very clear to the audience that it is the band name. Underneath the band name is a write up about them. This will include a brief history and the names of the members of the band. It may even contain bands that they sound like and who they are influenced by. The thumbnail images show placed around the page are likely to be relevant to things talked about in the article. By placing a bigger, more visible text of a certain quote within the article you catch the reader’s attention on something exciting that is going to be spoken about therefore making them more likely to read it.
Other conventions would be things such as the colour scheme, by having all the text in the same colour scheme it makes the image and other important information such as the contact details and the main image stand out. The introduction to the article plays a big part in grabbing the attention of the audience, if it is catchy and informative on what the article is going to be about, they are more likely to read it to find out what happens.

Institution-This double page spread would have been made by the company NME as this is their magazine featuring relevant information in their chosen subjects, i.e. music. Only people that like and listen to the artists spoken about in the magazine are likely to buy and read it as it is of some relevance to them. Although it is published by ipc advertising because it is a certain genre that none other of their magazines cover, therefore they are gaining a bigger audience.

Ideology- I would say that the values and beliefs shown in this magazine is the appreciation of music, especially indie as stereotypically they are seen to be individual people with their own ideas and ways of living, this is shown in the image and how it is a bit unusually composed with the ice cream and the facial expressions.

Audience-The target audience for NME is mostly males around the age of 23, this is because men around this age are still going to festivals and enjoy the genre of music featured in the magazine. I think that the percentage of men to woman who read this magazine is bigger because stereotypically woman would be more likely to enjoy pop music such as Cheryl Cole and the Saturdays rather than male music featured in NME such as Arctic Monkeys and The Strokes.

Representation-I would say that the representation shown in the article is the dominance of men over woman, this is because in the image the main is stood behind her leaning over as in protecting her, this is because the magazine is mainly targeted at men, and they like to think of themselves as being in control, of which is shown in this image.Language- The band name is at the top of the page in bold writing. This is very clear to the audience that it is the band name. Underneath the band name is an image of all of them which will be eye catching to the audience, therefore if they like the band they’re likely to read the article. There is also a smaller image of one band member in particular which will be relevant as this member will be mentioned somewhere in the article. Another thing would be that by placing a bigger, more visible text of a certain quote within the article you catch the reader’s attention on something exciting that is going to be spoken about therefore making them more likely to read it.Other conventions would be things such as the colour scheme, by having all the text in the same colour scheme it makes the image and other important parts of the article such as main quotes stand out more. The introduction to the article plays a big part in grabbing the attention of the audience, if it is catchy and informative on what the article is going to be about, they are more likely to read it to find out what happens.Institution-This double page spread would have been made by Q and published by Bauer, this is because it covers a certain genre that none of the other magazines they published do which means they will gain a bigger audience therefore getting more money.Ideology-I would say that the values and beliefs of this magazine are that you should be opened minded about your choice of music and try to listen to a variety whether it is old or new.

Audience- Q's audience is composed of passionate, engaged and open minded music fans driven to continually discover new music - and to use this lust for discovery to influence their friends. The audience is split 75% male to 25% female.

Language- The larget text on the page is 'TEEN SPIRIT' it also has its own font and stands out the most, this would be to catch the audiences attention, especially the target audience which would read what is read and be interested to know how the band have 'teen spirit' by putting white in top of the red background it contrasts the most making it stand out even more. I also like how the text goes on to the left hand side of the page adding to mood of the image with the blood splats at the end of the text's background as the image looks violent. the short paragraph below the heading gives brief information on what is going to be spoken about in the article, the text is smaller than the heading bu larger than the text for the article, this makes it clear that it isn't a part of the article. The article is left aligned with an unjustified right with black text which makes it look professional and is easy to read. There is also a buy line which tells us wrote the article and who the image was taken by, in smaller text as it isn't as important to the audience. The images in the bottom right hand corner are blocked away from the article with a red background, but they are still relevant to the article, this gives the oppertunity to add more images to make the article looks more visually interesting rather that using words to show what has been said by the band.

institution- This double page spread was created by Kerrang and published by Bauer as this is their magazine featuring relevant information in their chosen subjects, i.e. music. Only people that like and listen to the artists spoken about in the magazine are likely to buy and read it as it is of some relevance to them. Bauer would publish it as it is a magazine with of a certain genre that none other of their magazines cover, therefore they are gaining a bigger audience.

ideology- The fact that the image on this article looks violent says to me that the values and belief of this magazine is to promote teenage rebelion and show them how it's fun and what other bands/artists of there age are doing therefore it is cool. If the audience like there music they are more likely to act as they do.

Audience-I would say that this magazine is aimed at people who are into a certain type of music, which in this case would be punk/pop rock and mainly teenagers. They would find this magazine to be for them as it has information of bands/artists that they like and therefore would be interested in reading about

Representation-I would say that this magazine portrays people who listen to indie/rock music as being quit violent and in some ways scary, this is because the people in the images all look rebellious, have tattoos and their facial expressions look like they are enjoying what is happening in the image. there clothing also suggests a lack of care for looking presentable as they are wearing t shirts and jeans rather than dressier clothing.

conventions of a double page spread

LIIAR analysis of 3 magazine contents pages

Language- This contents page uses the most used conventions for a magazine. Using several images from different articles around the page allows the audience to see who is going to be involved in the article and therefore making them more likely to read it if it is someone they recognise, the biggest image is usually related to the main feature which is on the front cover. Another convention would be the colour scheme which stays the same throughout and is normally only 2 colours, this is because it then looks more professional. The colour black could connote the idea of indie rock being different and alternate to main stream music. Large font is also used on the features section which lists all the articles that will be in the magazine, this is because it draws people’s attention if they see a name they recognised making them more likely to read the article.
Other conventions would be short quotations from various people which will be featured in the magazine. This is a useful thing to do as it makes the readers wonder what the quote could be related to and what the story behind it is. Page numbers giving reference to location of articles, with the name of the articles are used so that people can go straight to a certain feature instead of having the flick through several unwanted pages to find it.
Institution- This contents page would have been made by the company Kerrang and published by Bauer as this is their magazine featuring relevant information in their chosen subjects, i.e. music. Only people that like and listen to the artists spoken about in the magazine are likely to buy and read it as it is of some relevance to them. Bauer would publish it is a magazine with of a certain genre that none other of their magazines cover, therefore they are gaining a bigger audience.
Ideology-The fact that the people in the images are all either tattooed, have microphones in their hands or are wearing mostly black clothing with skulls on them shows that the magazine believes in punk/rock ways of producing music. All of the people in the images look like they are relevant to the same type of genre and therefore they would all be relevant in this magazine.
Audience-I would say that this magazine is aimed at people who are into a certain type of music, which in this case would be punk/pop rock and mainly teenagers. They would find this magazine to be for them as it has information of bands/artists that they like and therefore would be interested in reading about.
Representation-I would say that this magazine portrays people who listen to indie/rock music as being quit violent and in some ways scary, this is because the people in the images all look rebellious, have tattoos and their facial expressions are quit aggressive

Language- This NME contents page uses most of the conventions for a magazine. The contents page is aligned o the right hand side of the page, where there are subheading and page numbers used to show where to find each article, this is a good thing because then readers can find what they want quicker. There is also a band index to the left hand side which tells the reader what artists are featured in the magazine, this would make the chances of the target audience buying the magazine higher, as if they were to browse through and see a band index full of artist they like they would be more likely to buy it. The colour scheme is red, black and white, which links to the NME logo and will have been used on the front cover too.
There is also a small article in the middle of the page called ‘the moment that…Kasabian got romantic in church’. A small article on the contents page could be a good aspect to have as it gives the reader an idea of what is going to be inside the magazine. Also it could show the music genre the magazine is aimed at.
Finally, NME have a small advert at the bottom of their page in order to persuade people to subscribe to their magazine and save 45 pounds. By giving a discount the reader is more likely to read the rest of the writing and subscribe as they would be saving money.
Institution-This content would have been made by the company NME as this is their magazine featuring relevant information in their chosen subjects, i.e. music. Only people that like and listen to the artists spoken about in the magazine are likely to buy and read it as it is of some relevance to them. Although it is published by ipc advertising  because it is a certain genre that none other of their magazines cover, therefore they are gaining a bigger audience.
Ideology-I would say that the values and beliefs shown in this magazine is that you should appreciate the indie music around now such as Alex Turner and Miles Kane as the main feature, but because Rolling Stones are also featured I would say they also think it right to appreciate older less modern music.
Audience- The target audience for NME is mostly males around the age of 23, this is because men around this age are still going to festivals and enjoy the genre of music featured in the magazine. I think that the percentage of men to woman who read this magazine is bigger because stereotypically woman would be more likely to enjoy pop music such as Cheryl Cole and the Saturdays rather than male music featured in NME such as Arctic Monkeys and The Strokes.
Representation-I think that people are portrayed in this magazine as being very individual in their music taste, being quit rebellious and different with their own style and own opinions. The fact that in the images they are all using guitars and drums rather than all the new techno computer technology used in music today also shows they don’t follow the crowed.

Language- The conventions used in Q are first of all the main image used to show the genre of the magazine by it being a certain artist. The feature section which shows the names of the articles and the number it is on which is placed there to make it easier for the reader to find a particular story. The colour scheme is black, red and white which relates to the colours of the Q logo and will have also been used on the front cover.
There is also a review section which gives the readers information on what is the best things to purchase, this will be related to the particular genre that Q write about. By putting the issue number on, the reader knows how successful the magazine is, as if it is a high number people must read and enjoy the magazine for it to carry on being published.
Institution-This magazine would have been made by Q and published by Bauer, this is because it covers a certain genre that none of the other magazines they published do which means they will gain a bigger audience therefore getting more money.
Ideology-I would say that the values and beliefs of this magazine are that you should be opened minded about your choice of music and try to listen to a variety whether it be old or new.
Audience- Q's audience is composed of passionate, engaged and open minded music fans driven to continually discover new music - and to use this lust for discovery to influence their friends. The audience is split 75% male to 25% female.
Representation- I think the people are portrayed in this magazine is being very relaxed with their music taste and always looking new artist to admire rather than staying with the same ones.

LIIAR analysis of 3 music magazine front covers

Language-This magazine uses most of the conventions of a typical magazine cover, such as the mast head NME placed at the top being in bigger bolder sans serif writing than the rest of the text to make it stand out more and is in the top left hand corner of the page, the main feature being in slightly smaller writing but bigger than the cover lines as it is the most important story which is normally about a certain person/band and relating to the main image which is placed in the middle of the cover and is a medium close up, which is from the waist upwards. The cover lines are around the edges in smaller writing but are there to grab your attention and tell you what is going to be featured in the articles and the colour scheme, which is a certain amount of colours, usually only three or four this one is red, white, yellow and black, you could say that the red connotes the fact that indie rock is rebellious as they are alternate to main stream music.
The left third of the magazine is where most of the cover lines are as this is the only bit which is visible to people when it is placed on a shelf in a shop. Another thing would be that the sky line gives information about what the magazine will be about, as for this particular magazine it is to give 'studio news'. A flash has also been used in this magazine in order to outline a certain piece of information; in this case it is a black circle which contrast with the white back ground and has 'Jack white shock new album, out now' written in it, this catches the attention of the reader and tells them that something fun and exciting is going to be talked about somewhere in the magazine.
Institution-This front cover would have been made by the company NME as this is their magazine featuring relevant information in their chosen subjects, i.e. music. Only people that like and listen to the artists spoken about in the magazine are likely to buy and read it as it is of some relevance to them. Although it is published by ipc advertising because it is a certain genre that none other of their magazines are based on, therefore they are gaining a bigger audience.
Ideology-I would say that the values and beliefs shown in this magazine is that you should appreciate the indie music around now such as Alex Turner and Miles Kane as the main feature, but because Rolling Stones are also featured I would say they also think it right to appreciate older less modern music. The fact that they’re alternate to main stream music and are rebellious is connoted in the use of colour on the page, for example the fact that the men in the image are wearing black shows how they don’t want to fit in with the more mainstream artists and they are different from them. There is also the colour scheme, which as I said in language are red, white, black and yellow. The red connotes their rebellion to be alternate to main stream music; I think that the red could also connote their passion to this genre of music. I would also say that the fact that the colours chosen clash with each other connotes their ability to break the rules and be different which means indie rock would clash with other genres of music.
This is shown in the fact that the men in the main image aren’t smiling and the use of the camera being slightly below them shows that they’re powerful and ready to take on people who disagree with their rebellion.

Language-This magazine shows some of the usual conventions for a magazine front cover, such as the mast head KERRANG! placed at the top being in bigger bolder sans serif writing than the rest of the text to make it stand out more, the main feature being in slightly smaller writing but bigger than the cover lines as it is the most important story which is normally about a certain person/band and relating to the main image which is placed in the middle of the cover and is a medium close up image, which is from the waist upwards. The sky line is placed above the masthead offering a free product which would work as a way to get the customer to buy it as they would have the chance of winning. The colour scheme is also a convention as there is only 3 colours used which is red, white and black. The colour red would connote their passion for rock music and show the audience this.
Thumbnail images have been put at the bottom of the magazine with text saying 'FREE! POSTER SPECIAL' and smaller subheadings have being placed bellow it showing other artists that are going to be featured in the magazine.
Institution-This front cover would have been made by the company KERRANG as this is their magazine featuring relevant information in their chosen subjects, i.e. music. Only people that like and listen to the artists spoken about in the magazine are likely to buy and read it as it is of some relevance to them. Although it is published by Bauer advertising because it is a certain genre (rock) that none other of their magazines are based on, therefore they are gaining a bigger audience.
Ideology- I think the values and beliefs in this magazine are that you should be dedicated to the type of music you like, KERRANG gives information on rock genre gigs to encourage their audience to go and support their favourite music. The image also shows their values and beliefs as the main band member has his hood up and looks careless, this connotes the idea of being rebellious and the fact he doesn’t seem to care about the fact he is breaking the stereotypical ideas of all young people wearing hoodies being gangsters. Also the fact he has longer hair compared to most men would connote again the stereotypical idea of men having short hair.
Audience- The target audience for KERRANG is young, individual minded people who are passionate about music and are defined by attitude, passion and loyalty.
Representation-I think that people are portrayed in this magazine as being very passionate in their music taste, being quit rebellious and not caring, which links in with idea of rock music being all about sex and drugs and having a crazy life style.

Language-The fact that the masthead MOJO is placed at the top being in bigger bolder sans serif writing than the rest of the text would be one convention of a front cover, it is to make it stand out more and be eye catching to customers who may like the magazine. The main feature is in smaller writing but bigger than the cover lines as it is the most important story which is normally about a certain artist and relating to the main image which is placed in the middle of the cover and is a medium close up, which is from the waist upwards. The cover lines are around the edges in smaller writing but are there to grab your attention and tell you what is going to be featured in the articles and the colour scheme, which is a certain amount of colours, usually only three or four this one is grey, yellow and black and is usually the same for every issue so it is recognisable as being their magazine. The colours used could connote the ideas of indie rock being rebellious and breaking the usual conventions of behaviour and style of music, this is shown by the lack of bright exciting colours and the fact the men in the image are also wearing black.
The left third of the magazine is where most of the cover lines are as this is the only bit which is visible to people when it is placed on a shelf in a shop. Another thing would be that the sky line gives information about what the magazine will be about, as for this particular magazine it has thumbnail images with a cover line related to it, to show another important article that will be featured. A flash has also been used in this magazine in order to outline a certain piece of information; in this case it is a yellow circle which contrast with the white background and is offering a free CD inside, this catches the attention of the reader and tells them that they may have the chance to win something if they look inside.
Institution-This front cover would have been made by the company MOJO as this is their magazine featuring relevant information in their chosen subjects, i.e. music. Only people that like and listen to the artists spoken about in the magazine are likely to buy and read it as it is of some relevance to them. Although it is published by Bauer because it is a certain genre that none other of their magazines are based on, therefore they are gaining a bigger audience.
Ideology-I would say that the values and beliefs shown in this magazine is that you should appreciate the old rock music which is less popular and known about in this generation. There is also the colours used which connotes the idea that indie rock is alternate to main stream music therefore they’re breaking the rules and being rebellious against the usual main stream ideas of what music is about.
Audience- The target audience for MOJO is mostly males, who see their passion as as discovery without boundaries, genre and decade being secondary to quality.
Representation-I think that people are portrayed in this magazine as being very individual in their music taste and not caring how old or new the artist is as long as the music they produce is good.

conventions of a music magazine front cover

Mast head- This is the magazine title, it is usually displayed in the top left hand corner.
Cover lines- Distributed around the main image
left third- The left third of the front cover is where the cover lines are normally placed, this is because when the magazine is on the rack in a shop, the left third is the only part of the magazine you can see, so it needs to attract your attention.

Evaluation

Language
My product has many of the conventions expected in a magazine. The Masthead is larger than the rest of the text and is placed at the top of the page, this is so people recognise the magazine and know what it is. There is also a sky line which is ‘we put the cool in college life’ which is a way of enticing the audience and telling them what it is we do for them. The barcode, price and issue number are placed in the bottom left hand corner so they know the price and how many previous magazines have being publish, this could help understand how successful it is.
Other conventions used are the image is a medium close up and the model is smiling showing she is happy to be there, this sets a good example for the magazine showing that it is a lively and joyful and full of good news rather than depressing and upsetting. There is also the use of cover lines around the sides of the main image with strap lines placed underneath, these give the audience an idea of the articles that are going to be featured in the magazine, and giving them a quick look of what they are going to be about, if they read these they may be more likely to want to buy the magazine to read the full story.
The use of a house style means that the magazine then has a brand identity that people can recognise and relate to the magazine when they see it. The house style of this magazine is, purple, black and white and the fonts are Trajan Pro, Times new roman and Tahoma.
I have also used a flash, this offers a chance to win a free product if they go to a certain page, and this is another way of making it more likely that the customer will buy the magazine as they have the chance to gain something out of it. Finally there is an identifying image, which is an image of the college logo; this is so the audience know that the magazine is related to the college.

Institution
This magazine would be distributed by Wyke College, as this is was the information within the magazine is based on. No other company outside of the college with have any relevance to it as only students/teachers at the college would be interested in reading it.

Ideology
The fact that the model in the image is holding books and has a happy relaxed expression on her face shows that the values and beliefs of this college are that everyone should have the opportunity to be educated and make it an enjoyable process.
Also buy using a female model it represents the school as believing that woman should have equal rights the men in getting an education and having the chance to gain a good career rather than being at home being a stereo-typical woman.

Audience
It is easy to understand that the target audience for this magazine is college students, they would be able to find relevant information about events, the goings on around the college and even advice. They can also learn about their fellow students such as the main feature of my magazine which is aimed at a certain student.

Representation
Students are represented in this magazine in a certain way, this is that they are chirpy and pleased to be at the college but at the same time capable of doing the work, this is shown in the image as the model appears comfortable in her surroundings with a happy expression, and is also in the library holding books which shows she is ready to work. The main feature related to the image also portrays the students as having intelligence as it is about how she uses the library to the best of its resources.

Audience feedback

I asked several people, including students and teachers of the college for feedback on my work, this is what they had to say:

Jazzmin- good clear image that represents the college. Attractive colouring, eye catching image with useful information about relevant topics. Eye catching font.

Tim- I think that you need to add a bit more colour, as it looks quit dull and could be more eye catching. Overall the text is clear, the image is acceptable and the layout is good.

Charlotte- I think that overall the magazine looks trendy and up to date which would make me more likely to buy it as I would know it would be full of new, relevant information. the colour scheme works well as it fits with the college logo colours and therefore people will know it is for Wyke college only. The Image works well with the look of the college as the model looks happy to be there and comfortable in her surroundings which makes the college look friendly and welcoming.

Final

After going back and making several necessary changes, I think that my magazine looks professional and has many of the conventions required.

mock up website for my college magazine

How I would launch my magazine on the internet
I would use a viral marketing campaign to launch my magazine on the internet; using an image of the splash of every month’s magazine I could put it onto the college website with a link to a college magazine website that has certain features that will be in the magazine in order to heighten the chances of students buying it. This would work as most of the students will use the internet frequently and will need to use the college website to get information from and use their email.

This would also be a way of persuading the students to buy the magazine, as if they read the online version with parts of certain articles in them, they would get interested in it and want to read the full article which would mean they would have to buy the magazine to do so.

Magazines and their websites

From looking at Heat magazines website I can see that the main point of using a website for a magazine is to draw the audience in to a part of their articles making them interested and wonder what is going to happen, therefore making them likely to buy it so they read the rest.

draft three and feedback

feedback- After going back and adding another cover line to my magazine, I asked another college student, Charlotte, what she thought about my magazine. She said she thought that the colour scheme matched well with the logo of the school and the magazine its self looked professional and conventional.

i then asked my teacher Tim if this would good to use as my final magazine cover, he said that it looked to busy, the barcode was to large and the flash was in the wrong place.

draft two and feedback

feedback- I went back and asked Michaela again if there was any more improvements that could be made, she said that I could make it better by putting more cover lines on to fill up more gaps between the others.
